SCAPHOID PROTECTION SYSTEM
Scaphoid injury is the most common hand injury caused by the grab effect when the palm of the hand makes contact with the ground. Knox invented and patented the SPS (scaphoid protection system) which for the first time gave riders effective protection against common scaphoid injuries caused by either a compression fracture or by hyper extension.
The Knox SPS is a clever system that works by attaching 2 parts to the palm of the glove, making a bridge over the scaphoid. These plastic parts act as a slider eliminating the grab effect and scaphoid injuries, which are notoriously painful and slow to heal. This has proven to be a very effective system for riders with no loss of flexibility, discomfort or interference with the controls when operating the bike.

SPS SPORT PART 301
The SPS Part 301 is made from abrasion resistant LDPE, with a hexagon design and angular design aesthetic, more suited to sportier gloves.
This flexible SPS ensures rider comfort.
A softer more flexible sewing edge makes it easier to sew in production and gives added durability.

SPS LOW PROFILE PART 303
For gloves that require a discreet look but all the benefits of scaphoid protection.
The new SPS Part 303 is made from LDPE with a rounded design and attractive hexagon design aesthetic, more suited to glove designs which require a low profile look and feel.
A softer more flexible sewing edge makes it easier to sew in production and gives add durability.
Size and style is suitable for both men’s and women’s gloves.

SPS IMPACT PART 403
SPS IMPACT PART 403 – Half Wrap.
The SPS Impact incorporates Micro-Lock impact protection into a new SPS shell made in durable LDPE. Comes in 2 styles, Full Wrap and Half Wrap.
These 2 high performance technologies work in synergy to give the benefits of scaphoid protection with added shock absorption.
MICRO-LOCK technology is displayed through a small visibility window.
1 piece of the Part 403 is positioned below the thumb and a second pad wraps discreetly around the palm.
A soft flexible edge improves rider comfort. A softer more flexible sewing edge makes it easier to sew in production.
